Q. What is an Angel?

A. A Tarnished Angel Cosmetic's Angel is someone who is excited about our line and about making money. Think of them as a spokesperson.

Q. What is the benefit?

A. We get traffic, exposure & new customers and you get 15% commision. The idea is that we are using you to promote our site outside of the web. It's way too expensive to advertise ourselves so we're asking for your help in return for a 15% commission and a spot on our Angel's page.

Q. Who would make the best Angel?

A. Anyone.. we'll take girls or boys, just as long as they are excited about our line and want to promote it to the world. We want to be clear that anyone who wants to try will be considered.

Q. Can't I just add a banner to my website?

A. Sure thing. We can provide you with a link to our banner if we like what you have to offer, but we are looking for people who want to do more than just add a link.

Q. Wait, shouldn't I try your line first? Is this some advertising ploy?

A. Well it's up to you whether you try the line first. Our goal is to promote our site and our products, but that doesn't mean you have to be a customer. It means you have to love makeup and know where to get it at reasonable prices. Let's say your friend really wants some sparkly loose glitter for a night out on the town, you may not have tried our brand specifically but you know we have it available. Just familiarize yourself with our products, and ask us any questions you have before you advertise anything. Think of it this way, do you really think all the men in perfume ads are regular users? Probably not.

Q. What does your site provide to help me promote?

A. We provide business cards with our site address and contact information. You can write your name on the business cards for people to use while using our checkout. It's a small simple way to help them remember what you'll need them to do in order to receive credit for the sale. We will also give you a tarnishedangel.com t-shirt after you've made your 3rd sale.

Q. I think I'd like to try it, but I really just want to host a small party with friends, I'm not comfortable talking to perfect strangers.

A. Well, you can set up a party one of two ways, you can either become an Angel and share all the site information with your party goers, and then send them home to make purchases on their own, or you can setup a reseller's account with us. There are a lot of details to this option, if you are interested in hearing more please email us and we'll provide more information. This is a really great option for people who have large circles of friends who really love makeup, home parties are always a smashing success.

Q. Alright, give me the goods.. how do I get paid?

A. Once invited you'll receive a request for your personal information (for accounting purposes only!) and a schedule of payment information. We give you 15% of the total (less shipping charges), and we'll update you monthly on your balance and send a check if it is more than $10.00

Q. How do you track this information?

A. You give the customer your name. Please ask them to include their name in the "notes & instructions" field when checking out, and we'll count the sale as a commission for you.

Q. How do I know it's accurate?

A. We're in the process of setting up a new shopping cart that will provide you with your own affiliate account and the ability to track your sales on your own, but for now our old shopping cart will have to be used and we will have to provide you with the sales information.
